This is a collaborative work with Elvar, a project for two single releases, SKART and ÚT Í KVÖLD. The visual concept was shaped around the artist’s request to capture a world that feels detached from the familiar — a landscape that appears both real and otherworldly.
Photographed across moss-covered fields and geothermal terrain, the series combines colour and black & white film to heighten texture and atmosphere. The use of film was central to the process, grounding the images in a tactile quality that mirrors the organic depth of Elvar’s music.
The resulting photographs exist between earth and imagination, where landscape becomes emotion and presence takes on a dreamlike form. Each frame reflects the collaboration between sound and image, a shared vision shaped by place, tone, and light.
