This is a collaborative work with Patty Gurdy, a project for two music videos, Rise Up and Álfarann. The production brought together sound and landscape, with filming locations chosen to reflect the artist’s nordic-inspired tone and visual identity.
Set in Iceland’s contrasting environments, Rise Up was filmed beside a vast mountain lake, while Álfarann unfolded along the ocean cliffs and within a coastal cave. The settings provided a natural extension of the music, grounding its mythical and emotional themes in real landscapes.
My contribution focused on drone cinematography, capturing the wider perspective and sense of scale, as well as behind-the-scenes photography and location scouting. Together, these elements connected atmosphere and narrative, revealing the dialogue between movement, sound, and the raw character of Iceland’s terrain.
